By Stormy the Dog
My first camping adventure!
After getting in the car I was super-excited because I thought we were going to the woods.
I soon realised after an hour or so that wasn’t the case, so I curled up and had a nap.
We arrived at a lovely country spot with strange things on wheels parked up and odd material things with people inside.
Mum stuck a thing in the ground and attached a long lead to it while she grumpily put up one of the material things.
After that, we went to a very handy and clean (no poos) dog field for some ball time.
There were many other dogs at the campsite but it was very clean and we were allowed at most places except the shower and toilet block.
There were lovely views and you could see Lympne Castle.
Over the weekend I got dragged around various strange places which were all dog friendly.
The Ocean and Neptune pubs in Dymchurch are all dog friendly. (I licked the back of a man’s leg in The Ocean and he turned round and gave me a stroke, but he said he hoped it was my Mum licking his leg.)
Part of the beach at Dymchurch is dog friendly too but I had to scare off a kite at one point to protect my pack.
All areas are very clean.
My Mum hates dog poo not being picked up and she didn’t complain once on this holiday.
On the last day we visited Brockhill Country Park and had a lovely walk. The humans had lunch at the café there and the small humans climbed trees and played in the park.
After all the new adventures I slept like a dog every night and on the way home.
I was very relieved to get back to my house and annoy Goose the cat by sniffing his bum.
Poo Level; 5 out of 5.
