Lyn’s Favourite Dip

By Lyn Funnell

I was given this recipe by a friend of mine. Her daughter lived in Libya before all the troubles.

It was popular at Ex-Pats’ parties and social events.

1 mango, peeled

1 cream cheese.

I used High Weald Dairy’s Sussex Slipcote.

A large glug of Sweet Chilli Sauce.

Mangos have a large stone which makes it hard to cut the flesh off.

I make cuts across it, then I make further cuts sideways.

This makes it easy to slice the flesh off it. And as it’s in small cubes, it’s the right size for this recipe.

Place the mango pieces in a bowl.

Mix in the cream cheese.

Then tip in chilli sauce and mix well.

Taste it and add more chilli sauce if you think it’s needed.

Serve with small crackers.

Your family or guests will love it!
