Eastbourne Launch Community Awards

The very best of a beautiful and historic town will be showcased at its first Community Awards being held in June.
The Eastbourne Community Awards 2026 is a new partnership between Coda Pharmacy, Bournefree Magazine, and Glass House on the seafront.
A recent launch event took place at the prestigious Glass House – and Christopher Trinh from Coda Pharmacy is thrilled to be at the heart of the project.
He said: “This initiative is incredibly close to our hearts. At Coda Pharmacy, our community isn’t just part of what we do, it’s the reason we do it.
“We see first-hand the kindness, resilience and dedication that makes Eastbourne such a special place to live and work.
“These awards are our way of shining a light on the individuals, organisations, volunteers and quiet heroes whose efforts often go unrecognised but whose impact is felt across our town.
‍”The Eastbourne Community Awards 2026 will be a celebration of the people who lift others up, support local causes and bring our community together. From grassroots initiatives to established organisations, we want to honour those who go above and beyond to make a difference.”
The date for the big night has been set – Thursday June 18 at Glass House from 7pm.
There will be various categories all highlighting the very best people in the town’s community.
Ryan Millns from Ashdown Radio will host the event, and all proceeds will go to St Wilfrid’s Hospice and SASBAH – The Sussex Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.
Chris from Coda said: “We are so excited for the Eastbourne Community Awards 2026 and to bring everyone together for what promises to be a truly special evening.
“Most of all, we’re looking forward to celebrating our town and the people who make Eastbourne the incredible community it is. We can’t wait to share this journey with you and celebrate together.”
