Sandy Beach Resort in Corfu is South West of Corfu, next to a relaxing beach with many different boats that people can hire out.
There are four main restaurants and two main bars.
Most of the rooms are in blocks, but there are also peaceful villas just a five minute walk away from Reception. There is a main pool for all of the villas with its own bar and each villa has its own pool. The villas are a great place to stay if you want to relax and listen to nature.

The resort is a very lively and fun place with music, jolly people and three pools to choose from.
There is also an adults only pool next to the Greek restaurant with its own swim-up bar.
One of the pools even has four waterslides, entertainment and a pizza restaurant.
The hotel’s own beach is a great place to swim with warm water, plenty of sunloungers and showers.
There are lots of different fish to spot underwater as well.
At night, the bars are all open with all-inclusive drinks and there are plenty of lights around, including the lit-up pools so that people can walk around to the different bars and stop to listen to the scops owls and spot the fireflies and glowing frogs. Yes their stomachs glow green to attract the lady frogs!
There are two supermarkets at the resort where you can buy souvenirs, snacks, drinks, pool floats and lots more.
Some nights, there is entertainment at the open theatre near the beach.
The area along the beach outside the hotel is a fantastic place to explore, including amazing views, supermarkets, and restaurants. (one of them does Greek dancing and plate smashing) And if you walk in the other direction you’ll come to Korission Lagoon which is a protected area of wetlands.
There are loads of tavernas and quiet villages to visit nearby.
Not far from the hotel is a place that rents out cars and quads. And right next door to that is a place that does trips around the island by coach and boat. It is a great way to explore Corfu and its traditions.
Around half an hour’s walk from the hotel is Korrision Lagoon. It has a huge range of wildlife including flamingos and otters. Not far from there is a beach where people go In the summer and build things out of driftwood on Driftwood Beach.
If you want a chance to see the green sunset flash, you can go to Sunset Point near the Driftwood Beach around 20 minutes away from the hotel.
But if you don’t want to walk that far you can go down to the hotel beach and watch the beautiful sunset sink behind the sand dunes.
