More Fabulous Sussex Skies, Part 3 by Ann Ritchie

Here are a few more of my favourite ‘cloud’ photos.
Clouds over Chiddingly village
I’m not interested in identifying each type of cloud, just in trying to capture their beauty and appearance.
Over Framfield
I can quite happily just spend time watching clouds. How can anyone not be fascinated by their amazing, ever-changing formations?
Over Ashdown Forest

Combine clouds with sunshine or an impending storm, and the effect can be stunning.
Lake Wood before a storm

Skies over Uckfield – look at all that magnificence right over our heads

Arlington reservoir – a favourite location of mine
Getting up early to attend a boot fair means I get to see some lovely skies

Ann was born and raised in Sussex. She spent some years living in Cornwall where she drove a vintage tractor as a hobby, and did rather well in local ploughing contests, before moving to France where she was fully involved in all aspects of their house renovations. Having moved back to Sussex in 2013, Ann has recently retired from the NHS. A keen walker, with an excellent knowledge of nature, Unknown Kent and Sussex readers can enjoy the stunning photos Ann takes on her hikes throughout our counties.
