I’ve known Seren for 13 years. She’s written for me every week.
But we’d never met, although we’d almost managed it a few times.
So when I heard she was coming to Camber Sands with her husband Rob and six children for a week, we just had to drive there to meet her!

As soon as we met, it was though we’d met regularly. We got on like a house on fire.
It was good to sit face to face and discuss ideas and events.
I think we both gained a lot from each other.
While we were talking, a little friend landed and settled down to listen to us.
Camber Sands Holiday Park was a good place to meet. The weather was actually warm for the first time this year. The Park only had a few families staying there as it was the start of the season. And the children had plenty of entertainment within view of us.
Early Spring is a good time to search around for holiday bargains.
Seren with 5 of her 6 children,
After inspecting their caravan, which was very roomy and easily big enough for the whole family, we went for a walk along the beach.
Camber Sands is pebbly at the top, but when the tide goes out it’s flat and sandy.
It’s one of the most beautiful beaches in England.
While the children went to explore the beach, we said goodbye and drove home.
I do hope we can meet again soon!
