I have always wanted to start a Pre – School for Grown- Ups.
Last week I suggested to the Pot and Kettle owner, Heidi Devitt that it would be fun to have a colouring in morning at the restaurant.
We advertised it, then, last Wednesday, took our own colouring in books and crayons along and sat there as happy as Larry with a cup of coffee, and waited.
One other lady pitched up and joined in and we had a lovely time chatting and colouring in and being blessed by the most amazing view from the Pot and Kettle.
As we were packing up, I decided to sing a song as I had taken my guitar along for fun in case anyone wanted to play it – remember the Coffee and Chords mornings ?
I played a song, then as a couple of ladies were leaving one of them asked if she could sing and that was lovely too.
Then Heidi put it up on the local Seniors WhatsApp group and, suddenly lots of folks said they would like to join in, so we have arranged a special morning on the 23rd.
Meanwhile Heidi and I will sit there every Wednesday with our crayons and see what happens.
